A Celebration of Love & Gratitude
The weddings I’ve photographed over the last couple of weeks have been full of color, and I have loved every minute of it. Hailey and Joshua’s wedding day was a beautiful part of that—a vibrant celebration filled with meaningful details, emotional moments, and so much love.
Thankfully, the rain gave them a little breathing room, too!
Their flowers and colorful details were beautiful to photograph, but what I’ll remember most is how the day felt. Hailey and Joshua made room for moments that mattered to them, and the people they love were at the heart of it all.
One of the sweetest parts of the day was Hailey’s first look with her dad. She read him a heartfelt letter, taking time to tell him what he meant to her before stepping into this new chapter. It was such a personal moment, and an honor to photograph.
That thoughtfulness carried throughout the celebration. All day long, Hailey made sure the people around her knew how grateful she was for them. Even with everything happening on a wedding day, she took the time to express her love and appreciation. Those moments said so much about her.
Hailey and Joshua also shared private vows during their first look. Before exchanging vows again at the altar, they had a moment to speak those promises just to each other. I loved that their day held space for both: the intimacy of private vows and the joy of making those promises surrounded by their loved ones.
By dinner, the heartfelt moments kept coming. The speeches had us all in tears and reflected the love surrounding these two. There was so much joy and thankfulness in the room, and it made their celebration feel deeply personal.
Looking through their photographs, I love seeing the vibrant colors woven throughout their day. But I’m just as drawn to the images that hold its emotion—the first looks, the vows, and the people who were there to celebrate with them. Together, they tell the story of a wedding that was beautiful in both its details and its meaning.
Hailey and Joshua, thank you for trusting me to document such a special day. Getting to witness your love and the gratitude you shared with those around you was a gift. I hope these photographs always bring you back to how it felt to be there, surrounded by so many people who love you.
Days like yours remind me why I love being a wedding photographer. Having a front-row seat to these moments is an honor I’ll never take for granted.
