Some wedding days just radiate happiness — and Ethan and Ashlyn’s wedding was one of those days. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the emotion building. There were tears during nearly every first look — from Ashlyn’s sweet moments with her bridesmaids to her emotional first look with Ethan. Each one felt so raw and real, a perfect reminder that this was more than just a wedding day — it was the beginning of a marriage deeply rooted in love and friendship.

Ashlyn and Ethan exchanged gifts before their ceremony, and it was one of my favorite parts of the day. Both of them had chosen books for one another, a gesture that felt so personal and thoughtful. Watching them sit quietly in the garden, reading what the other had written, was such a tender, once-in-a-lifetime moment.

The bridesmaids brought the most joyful pop of color — each in a different vibrant shade, creating the most stunning rainbow palette against the lush greenery of the Botanic Garden. It was the perfect nod to spring: fresh, bright, and full of life.

Their ceremony took place by the fountain, with the sound of water trickling in the background and sunlight streaming over the garden. After reading private vows, Ashlyn and Ethan said “I do” surrounded by friends and family, and the joy on their faces walking back up the aisle was contagious.

As the sun dipped lower, the celebration kicked off in full force. The dance floor stayed packed all night, and one of my favorite moments was Ashlyn and her girls belting out The Climb at the top of their lungs while the entire room sang along. It was the kind of moment that makes you stop, smile, and take in just how special these nights are.

Every detail of the day — the books, the colors, the garden setting, the laughter — came together to create a wedding that felt so perfectly “them.” Ethan and Ashlyn’s wedding wasn’t just beautiful, it was joyful, emotional, and unforgettable.
